Abstract
Of 72 children with severe rhinoconjunctivitis due to birch pollinosis, 67 (93%) reported sensitivity against nuts, apples, etc. The hayfever symptoms improved by immunotherapy but neither subcutaneous (n = 42) nor oral (n = 14) immunotherapy with birch pollen allergen preparations made the food sensitivity decrease significantly more than the placebo oral immunotherapy (n = 16).Entities:
