Abstract
Problems accompanied with dental practice of a neurotic patient who complained about her facial disfigurement after prosthetic treatment were discussed. Through this discussion, the necessity of understanding mental state and personality of this kind of patient was pointed out. And the need of systematic study of these neurotic cases with relation to dental practice including the method of smooth liaison with a psychiatrist was suggested. Also, the process leading the patient to have a firm belief of having a disfigured face was discussed.Entities:
