Abstract
T regulatory cells (Tregs) play an important role in the regulation of autoimmunity, autoinflammation, allergic diseases, infection, and the tumor environment. Different subsets are characterized that use a number of regulatory mechanisms. Tregs can influence the progression of inflammatory bowel disease and the development of colorectal cancer. Knowledge of Tregs and their regulatory mechanisms can provide new targets for therapeutic intervention.Entities:
