Information is now available in real time from a multitude of sources. Twitter provides one effective means to broadcast images with short captions instantly and everywhere. Last year we began using Twitter to convey our excitement with the biological sciences, and discovered a new means to contribute, connect, and conference with a broader global scientific community and beyond.
