Abstract
Many non-pharmacological interventions have only been tested in adults, and evidence on using these in children is lacking. To enhance child healthcare, research is required into these interventions in children. However, current rules and regulations make it difficult to conduct research into these low-risk, minimal-burden interventions. We describe the current rules and regulations on conducting research in children in the Netherlands and discuss the possibilities for adapting certain rules in accordance with the type of research that is performed.Entities:
