Abstract
Double-orifice mitral valve is a rare congenital anomaly that usually does not cause a significant hemodynamic effect. Double-orifice mitral valve and a bicuspid aortic valve were detected in a 54-year-old lady who presented with dyspnea on exertion for one year. This is a rare association. Three-dimensional echocardiography is helpful to determine the type of malformation. The patient had no significant mitral regurgitation or stenosis, but demonstrated moderate aortic stenosis. She is undergoing periodic monitoring.Entities:
