Tuberculous osteomyelitis of the mandible.

Abstract

An unusual case of tuberculous involvement of the mandible in a 22-month-old African girl is presented. Other tissues involved included the small bones of the hands and feet and pulmonary, cervical, and submental lymph nodes. A short discussion of the pathogen involved is offered.
