Figure 1(a) Normal glomerular volume. There was no glomerular capsule adhesion, segmental sclerosis, or crescent, and there was no mesangial proliferation or mesangial matrix broadening. Bowman's capsule was segmented, had mild thickening, and was stratified (PAS, original magnification ×400). (b and c) Renal tubular atrophy, focal interstitial lesions, moderate fibrosis, focal inflammatory cells, and moderate infiltration. Inflammatory cells were mainly lymphocytes/monocytes and were radially distributed along the medulla (b - PAS, original magnification ×400; c - PAS, original magnification ×200).
