Abstract
Nail diseases are a diagnostic challenge and high-frequency ultrasound with colour Doppler is a simple and painless diagnostic test that can often be useful. Ultrasound allows real-time evaluation of the anatomical structures of the nail and its vascularisation. The present study reviews the literature on ultrasound findings in the normal nail and in inflammatory and tumoural disease.Entities:
