Abstract
In this case report, we describe the clinical course of a patient with Ebola virus disease who was transferred to the Highly Contagious Pathogens Treatment Unit at the Hamburg University Medical Center. High volume turnover, electrolyte imbalances, paralytic ileus, sepsis with multiresistant gram-negative pathogen, and respiratory failure due to blood aspiration were major clinical challenges.Entities:
