Abstract
High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) and thin-section CT are techniques that are particularly suited for evaluation of the pulmonary parenchyma. These techniques have been found useful in the assessment of bronchiectasis and solitary pulmonary nodules. HRCT offers promise in evaluation of diffuse and focal pulmonary parenchymal disease. The principles and applications of HRCT of the lung are reviewed.Entities:
