Abstract
Stoichiometric reactions of SF5 functionalized bromo or iodo aromatics at [Pd(PiPr3)2] (1) led to the oxidative addition products 3, 5 and 7. They were converted into their corresponding palladium fluorido complexes, which reacted readily with bis(pinacolato)diboron (B2pin2) to give the borylated SF5 aromatic compounds. Based on these studies a catalytic borylation of SF5 organyls was developed.Entities:
