Abstract
The desire for power and social dominance plays a significant role in the development of social aggression. Although the construct of Machiavellianism reflects these aspects well, it has hardly been recognized in Germany. In this review article the construct of Machiavellianism will be presented. Previous research on the relationship between Machiavellianism and particularly aggressive behavior in children and adolescents are critically discussed and implications for future studies are derived.Entities:
