Abstract
The rhizosphere microbiome plays an important role in plant growth, nutrition and health. Recent research unearthed that plant genotype-dependent navigation of microbial community composition in the rhizosphere is associated with fitness consequences for the host plant, providing great promise for breeding soil-borne supremacy traits into future crops.Mesh:
