There were no statistically significant differences in significant developmental delays in MDI (MDI <70) among the 3 treatment groups at 6 (p = 0.066), 12 (p = 0.450), 18 (p = 0.226), or 24 (p = 0.057) months.

Multiple-comparison analysis showed that the patients in the IVB + laser group had a higher incidence of severe psychomotor defects (PDI <70) at 24 (p = 0.010) months than the patients in the laser group (*indicates a significant difference).
