Guidelines for the identification of hearing impairment/handicap in adult/elderly persons.

Abstract

ASHA recommends screening to identify individuals with a hearing impairment/handicap. This screening protocol will enable clinicians to rapidly and effectively identify those persons whose hearing impairment interferes with daily life and thus may require audiologic management.
