Abstract

Conventional immunoblot assays are a useful tool for specific protein identification, but tedious, labor-intensive and time-consuming. A capillary electrophoresis-based immunoblot assay so-called "Simple Western" was developed to enable the protein identification in an automatic manner. This communication describes the use of Simple Western for detecting anti-Salmonella FlgK antibodies from chicken sera. Published by Elsevier B.V.
