Podcasting in the STEM disciplines: the implications of supplementary lecture recording and 'lecture flipping'.

Marios Hadjianastasis1, Karl P Nightingale2.

Abstract

Lecture capture or 'podcasting' technology offers a new and engaging format of learning materials that can be used to increase the flexibility and interactivity of learning and teaching environments. Here we discuss different ways that these recordings can be incorporated into STEM discipline teaching, and the impact this can have on students' learning. © FEMS 2016. All rights reserved.
