Nutritional assessment: a computer-based dietary analysis.

The Nutritional Assessment computer program is intended to assist dentists and other health professionals with an evaluation of an individual's nutritional intake by identifying intake inadequacies, excesses, or imbalances. The assessment is not intended as a substitute for a visit to the appropriate health professional. An assessment report shows if an individual is selecting appropriate foods to meet dietary guidelines or could benefit from diet counselling.
