Abstract
The range of microorganisms that may cause bacterial endocarditis is extensive. Increasingly recognised is the frequency with which Haemophilus species may be associated with this condition, although they account for less than 1% of cases. Haemophilus influenze, however, is very rarely implicated. We report a fatal case of H. influenzae endocarditis in a 55-year-old man.Entities:
