Abstract
In the fifth century B.C., Cnidus and Cos, geographical neighbours and closely related also through the family of the Asclepiads, created an homogeneous though varied medicine. Available sources do not allow us--contrary to what is often done--to state a principal difference between Cnidian and Coan medicine. The Cnidian physicians Euryphon, Herodicus and Ctesias are presented.Mesh:
