Abstract
Appendicovesical fistula is a rare entity, with only 116 cases reported to date. It is an uncommon form of enterovesical fistula and often associated with a history of appendicitis. It can present as pneumaturia, fecaluria, and recurrent urinary tract infections, not unlike symptoms of enterovesical fistulas. We present a novel case of appendicovesical fistula developing after transurethral resection of bladder tumor and instillation of mitomycin C. Treatment included laparoscopic appendectomy and bladder repair.Entities:
