Management of fibromyalgia syndrome.

Abstract

The treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome is complex because there is no real evidence that inflammation or immune abnormalities are present. This article reviews the possible pathophysiologic changes in fibromyalgia, and presents several possible treatment modalities.
