Abstract
Cine magnetic resonance imaging has the attributes that enable its use as a method for quantitating the three-dimensional functional geometry of the ventricles. The completely noninvasive nature of this technique is advantageous for sequential studies needed to monitor evolution of cardiac disease and response to therapy. This article reviews the authors' experiences with this technique for the evaluation of left ventricular and valvular function.Entities:
