Abstract
BACKGROUND: Since the overall prognosis of very elderly patients is generally limited, admissions to intensive care in these patients are often restricted. Therefore, only very few information is available on the prognosis of nonagenarians after intensive care treatment. The aim of this study was to analyze the clinical characteristics and outcomes of very elderly patients (≥90 years) admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU).Entities:
