Abstract
The management of impalement injuries to the brain presents formidable problems. A 39-year-old man was impaled by a crowbar which penetrated the brain. The prompt rescue and resuscitation, thorough surgical debridement, control of intracranial pressure and rehabilitation are described.Entities:
