This Special Report highlights the evidence supporting age-appropriate contraceptive counseling for adolescents and focuses on best practices for addressing adolescents' questions and concerns about contraceptive methods. Keywords: adolescent; birth control; contraception; contraceptive counseling; contraceptive efficacy; long-acting reversible contraception
