Abstract
Lichen planus (LP) classifies into different subtypes depending on morphology and localization. Localized LP of the lower limb (LPLL) manifests a great challenge due to persistent itching, therapeutic resistance and the risk to develop into SCC. We report two cases with LPLL refractory to standard topical therapy, which were successfully treated with psoralen cream plus UVA photochemotherapy (cream-PUVA). We propose cream-PUVA as an alternative therapeutic option effective for localized LP of the lower limbs.Entities:
