Abstract
Deutonura adriani sp. nov. is described from the region of Tizi-Ouzou (Algeria). The species is morphologically similar to D. deficiens deficiens Deharveng, 1979 from southwestern France, differing by not having De3 chaetae integrated into the dorso-external tubercle on abdominal tergites I and II. The genus Deutonura is re-diagnosed and a key to its Western Palaearctic species is provided.Mesh:
