The deterioration of total LUTS was identified by increase of ≥8 points in total score of IPSS during follow-up periods of 3 years. The deterioration of voiding symptoms and storage symptoms were identified by increase of ≥5 points in voiding subscore and ≥4 points in storage subscore, respectively.
