Abstract
A new procedure was developed for the management of uterine prolapse in young women. Transvaginal sacrospinous uterine fixation was employed successfully in five patients. The advantages of the procedure are that it avoids surgical trauma to the cervix, can be accomplished entirely vaginally, maintains the normal vaginal axis and obliterates the space for potential enterocele.Entities:
