Abstract
75 patients with suspected ectopic pregnancy, referred to the department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the RWTH-Aachen between July 1987 and May 1988, were examined by means of transvaginal sonography. The sonographic findings were subsequently vaudated by clinical and/or surgical means. An ultrasound diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy could not be confirmed in only 3 out of 25 such cases.Entities:
