Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Hospitalization data typically cannot be used to estimate the number of individuals hospitalized annually because individuals are not tracked over time and may be hospitalized multiple times annually. We examined the impact of repeat hospitalizations on hospitalization rates for various conditions and on comparison of rates by diabetes status.Entities:

Percentage increase is the increase due to including repeat hospitalizations.
