2146 participants from Hubei and Guangdong province received the test of total PSA, free PSA and f/tPSA. 3482 participants from the 4 provinces completed the questionnaire of I-PSS. Total PSA, free PSA, f/tPSA and I-PSS in different alcohol consumption groups were compared using analysis of one-way ANOVA or a t test. PSA, prostate specific antigen. f/tPSA, free PSA/total PSA ratio. I-PSS, In ternational Prostate Symptom Score. SD, standard deviation.
