Abstract
Endothelin-1 is a potent vasoconstrictive peptide that plays an important role in ex vivo lung perfusion. ET-1 expression levels are predictive of lung transplant outcomes and represent a valuable monitoring tool for surgeons; however, traditional techniques that measure [ET-1] are not suitable for the transplant setting. Herein, we demonstrate a new assay that rapidly measures ET-1 peptide levels in lung perfusate.Entities:
