Simplified bar-clip attachment for an overdenture patient with divergent roots.

Abstract

A patient with divergent roots as abutments was treated with a bar-clip overdenture. The treatment allowed complete seating of the abutment copings despite the divergence of the roots because the attachment-receptacle portions slide together during cementation.
