Abstract

A 15-year-old boy with severe bilateral hip joint pain and restriction of mobility presented to the casualty ward. He had earlier been treated for tuberculosis of the hip, with no relief. Our work up revealed a case of severe juvenile-onset ankylosing spondylitis with predominant hip involvement and accompanying sacroiliitis. 2015 BMJ Publishing Group Ltd.
