Abstract
OBJECTIVE: While the personal characteristics of users of psychotherapy and/or psychotropic medications have been examined, direct user comparison of these treatment approaches appears to be rare. Our aim is to ascertain extent of receipt of these services, and identify basic distinguishing characteristics of users.Entities:

aThe variables included in analysis are those for which a significant difference was found on bivariate analysis. A variable that was not significantly associated with a particular type of treatment is indicated by a dashed line (---------)
bCMD indicates common mental disorders as determined by GHQ-12 score
Bolded values are statistically significant
