Abstract
In the clinical setting of ankle edema, headache, proteinuria, and elevated blood pressure, a 33-year-old woman developed a postpartum subarachnoid hemorrhage that was seen on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Angiography demonstrated diffuse cerebral vasospasm without other underlying pathology. Subarachnoid hemorrhage with vasospasm in pre-eclampsia, not previously documented in the absence of associated systemic or cerebral abnormality, is described.Entities:
