Abstract
Reported are two cases of a cardiac tamponade complicated by a malignant, effusive pericarditis were treated by a pericardial, peritoneal window. In both cases, a reaccumulation of pericardial fluid was noticed, within a month after percutaneous, continuous pericardial drainage, and a tumor invasion was seen to the anterior mediastinum creating a pericardial, peritoneal window was considered useful for the treatment of the cardiac tamponade, secondary to the malignant, effusive pericarditis.Entities:
