Abstract
In a prospective study the results of 86 cases of transverse metacarpal and phalangeal fractures, corrective osteotomies and bone grafts treated by intraosseous wiring were reviewed six months postoperatively. The follow-up rate was 98%. Data included the time off work, the functional results in terms of total active range of motion of finger joints, intraoperative and postoperative complications, and additional stabilizing procedures.Entities:
