Abstract
Endometrial stromal nodules are rare benign tumors that appear as well-circumscribed globular masses in the myometrium. In this report, a myometrial mass exhibited heterogeneous hyperintensity without hypointense bands on T2-weighted images and homogeneous isointensity on T1-weighted images. A dynamic contrast study revealed the same degree of uterine myometrial enhancement only in the marginal area. The structures were pathologically confirmed to correspond with proliferating endometrial stromal cells. Herein, we report this rare tumor and the correlation between magnetic resonance imaging and pathological findings.Entities:
