Abstract
Primary vascular leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a rare tumor accounting for 2% of all LMSs, with the most common site being inferior vena cava (IVC). Overall prognosis is poor, with median survival of 2 years only. We present four cases diagnosed with LMS of IVC, treated with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The diagnosis was made based on imaging, intra-operative details and histopathology report and after excluding primary LMS arising from other retroperitoneal structures.Entities:
