Abstract
A 66-year-old man complained of foreign body sensation of the throat and progressive dysphagia without any trigger. Videolaryngoscopy showed a whitish lesion in the epiglottic vallecula. Neck enhanced MRI showed a lesion in epiglottic vallecula with remarkable enhancement. FDG PET/CT showed intense FDG uptake of the lesion with SUVmax of 28. Malignant tumor was suspected. The patient underwent microlaryngoscopic surgery. Histopathologic findings of the specimen were consistent with foreign body granuloma.Entities:
