Abstract
In vivo metabolic tests are highly valuable to determine whether atherosclerosis progression in mouse models is accompanied by carbohydrate metabolism alterations such as glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. In this chapter, we describe protocols to perform in the mouse glucose and insulin tolerance tests, two metabolic assays which evaluate the glucose tolerance and the insulin sensitivity, respectively.Entities:
