Abstract
Invasive fungal infection (IFI) is an important cause of mortality in immunocompromised children, particularly after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. We describe 5 cases of Fusarium IFI in immunocompromised children seen at our institution over a 15-year period. A summary of all published pediatric cases of invasive Fusarium infection is presented. A focus on antifungal management challenges in these patients will be discussed.Entities:
