Abstract
Consumption of low pH drinks has been steadily increasing, resulting in a number of instances of dental erosion. Such cases can easily be mistaken for attrition, abrasion or development abnormality, delaying proper treatment. In the example reported here the authors describe how differential diagnosis and dietary analysis were used to identify erosion as the cause of enamel loss, and the subsequent successful management of the case.Mesh:
