[Prevalence of eye loss. 3. Study of surgical variations and their correlation with etiology and sex].

The authors present and discuss the results of a survey on the prevalence of atrophy or absence of the eye considering the variable surgery and its correlation with etiology and sex, realized on patients submitted to prosthetic treatment at the Ocular Prosthesis Section of the Maxillo-Facial Prosthesis Department of the Dentistry School, University of São Paulo.
