Abstract
Saksenaea vasiformis was isolated, after 18 days, from a burn wound caused by a petrol bomb. The fungus was locally invasive and was treated successfully by excision and systemic administration of amphotericin B. Identification of the isolate was accomplished by inducing sporulation on 1% agar containing grass clippings and on hay infusion agar.Entities:
