Abstract
We report here a case of a 62-year-old Caucasian woman, suffering from diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (SSc), who developed a tumoural calcinosis (TC) localised in the left side of the neck around the cervical spine that caused severe pain and motion impairment, without involvement of regional neurological structures. A review of the literature on this issue (based on PubMed database) allowed us to identify 35 previously described cases of TC in para-vertebral area in the course of SSc.
